All-Inclusive 1 Night Private Narrowboat Cruise

The Experience

The one night Getaway make the perfect mid-week or weekend break.  The level of service is practically identical to our longer summer trips, making this a great off-season bargain that is popular with locals for birthdays, anniversaries, or 'just because'.

The Route

We sail between North Kilworth and Market Harborough, passing through the famous Foxton Locks on the morning of the second day. Foxton Locks are famous for being the longest set of 'Staircase' locks in the country - two flights of 5 locks each gives you plenty of time to practice your locking skills under the supervision of the volunteer lock-keeprs.  The trip is one-way, so depending on where the boat is, you might be sailing from Market Harborough or from North Kilworth.

The Logistics

Cruises are fully catered by a private chef and the price is all-inclusive for one or two adults.   Note that canal boats are not generally accessible by their nature, and we cannot accommodate life-threatening allergies in our mixed-use kitchen.  If you are arriving by train, courtesy pickup from Market Harborough railway station (an hour out of London's St. Pancras station) is available upon request.

Refund Policy

Narrowboat holidays are popular and book up well ahead.  In order to protect your booking, as is standard in the industry, we require payment in advance. 

• A non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required at the time of booking.
• £400 is refundable up to two weeks before your trip.

All efforts will be made to honour your trip dates.  However, if we need to cancel owing to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, and we cannot find a replacement to skipper and cater your trip, you will get a full refund or a trip credit.  On rare occasion, especially over winter, trips may be rescheduled owing to bad weather and in that case we will work with you to find a mutually acceptable alternative date.
